With the P.Core, AMSYS expands its portfolio with a compact pressure switch housed in the same robust stainless-steel enclosure as the P.Trace pressure transmitter. Together with the larger multifunctional P.Touch featuring touchscreen operation, all three devices are based on a ceramic pressure measuring cell. This completes a versatile product family designed for applications in hydraulics, automation, pneumatics, vacuum technology, and the packaging industry.
The ceramic measuring cell, combined with a medium-specific seal made of NBR, FKM, or EPDM, makes the P.Core highly resistant to aggressive media such as corrosive gases, hydraulic oils, and other chemical substances. This design ensures reliable operation even under demanding process conditions.
Despite its compact size, the P.Core is extremely robust. Its solid stainless-steel housing meets protection class IP68, providing excellent protection against dust and water ingress. This makes the pressure switch particularly suitable for harsh industrial environments where long-term stability and reliability are essential.
The P.Core features two freely programmable switching outputs with a repeatability of just 0.1% FS, matching the performance of its siblings P.Trace and P.Touch. Designed for continuous industrial operation, it covers pressure ranges from vacuum up to 600 bar. The device is ideally suited for applications requiring precise pressure monitoring under challenging conditions.
Flexible configuration and easy integration
The P.Core is available with G1/4″ process connections, optionally with male or female threads. Electrical connection is provided via a 4-pin M12 connector, enabling quick and secure integration into existing systems. With a switching capacity of 200 mA, the two programmable outputs can directly drive valves and other actuators in many applications.
Configuration and parameterization are carried out easily via IO-Link, allowing centralized setup and maintenance. A measurement accuracy of ±0.5% FS and a long-term drift of no more than 0.1% FS per year ensure reliable and stable performance throughout the product’s service life in industrial automation systems.
