The brand new P.Touch pressure switch makes this possible, intuitively operated via an integrated touchscreen. AMSYS GmbH & Co. KG offers with the new P.Touch a media resistant pressure switch for hydraulic fluids or water in the range of 10 bar to 600 bar. The rotatable display and the (programmable) color coding allow a quick visual control on site; the IO-Link a control from a distance – Industry 4.0 sends its greetings!
Two switching outputs with 200 mA switching current allow direct connection of most common relays and many valves. An analog output is available as an alternative. The IO-Link ouput makes it easy to integrate the sensors into a manufacturer-independent Industry 4.0-compliant sensor network, even at a later stage – should the need arise. The full functionality of the sensor is available centrally in the network making it easy to implement a central warning system (predictive maintenance). The system can be operated and programmed remotely and can be monitored even without direct access to the machinery.
If used locally, the capacitive touchscreen not only provides immediate feedback on the controlled pressure, but also enables intuitive operations without the need for lengthy study of the manual. The display colors are programmable for quick detection of the respective status, thus providing another feedback option. Adjustable hysteresis, window comparator and other state-of-the-art features allow a wide range of applications.
The new AMSYS pressure switch is used in particular in the process industry at relative pressures from 10 to 600 bar. Thanks to various sealing materials and the pressure connection made of 1.4404 stainless steel, even aggressive media with temperatures in the range of -25..100°C do not pose a problem for the P.Touch. It is connected to the piping via a G1/4″ internal or external thread, the electrical connection is made via an M12 plug, which also supplies the 9..30 V supply voltage.
With its intuitive touch display on the one hand and its future-proof IO-Link capability on the other, AMSYS offers with the P.Touch a pressure switch that combines both simple handling on site and future viability in a networked working environment.
