TPS-Low

TPS-ULP – pressure sensor

The digital ultra-low-pressure sensors of the TPS-ULP series combine modern MEMS pressure sensing elements with CMOS mixed-signal processing in a compact SOIC-16 package. The result is a fully calibrated and temperature-compensated digital low-pressure sensor that, depending on the version, features vertical or horizontal dual-port pressure connections. The series includes uni- and bidirectional gauge and differential pressure models.

The total error band after PCB mounting and system-level autozero is below 1 %FS across the entire compensated temperature range from −20 to 85 °C. The stable warm-up behavior and excellent long-term stability underline the sensor’s reliability over its full lifetime.

The newly developed, integrated signal-conditioning ASIC allows the configuration of internal filters as well as checksums to ensure data integrity of this modern micromechanical silicon pressure sensor. The TPS-ULP can be soldered directly onto the PCB in standard SMT processes as an SOIC-16 device. Via the 24-bit I²C interface, both a calibrated pressure signal and a temperature signal are available. External compensation networks or additional customer-specific correction circuits are not required.

The TPS-ULP series is currently available for pressure ranges of ±150 Pa, ±250 Pa and 0 … 500 Pa. For higher pressure ranges, the complementary TPS-LP series (up to 100 mbar) LINK and TPS-MP series (up to 2 bar) LINK are available as differential and gauge pressure sensors.

TPS products are supplied in Tape & Reel packaging.
