HTU31V - analog humidity- and temperature sensor by AMSYS

humidity-/temperature sensor HTU31V

The analog OEM sensor HTU31V is a combination of a capacitive-type sensor providing relative humidity and a temperature sensor. Each sensor is individually calibrated, compensated and tested.

Humidity can be measured in a range from 0 – 100 %RH. The temperature sensor is designed for the range from -40 to 125 ° C. Typical accuracy for humidity is ±2 %RH in the measuring range of 20 – 100 %RH @25 °C and ±0.2 °C for temperature between 0 – 100 °C.

The ratiometric output signal is generated depending on the supply voltage and must be converted into relative humidity (%RH) and temperature (°C) using a formula.

The average power consumption is 2.9 µA with 5 V supply @25 °C.

Humidity and temperature signal response time, as well as the recovery time (after complete condensation) are within a range of a few seconds.

The HTU31V’s semiconductor components are mounted in a (reflow) solderable 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.9 mm3 DFN chip package (dual-flat no-lead).
