P.Touch are pressure switches for fluids and gases under pressures up to 600 bar. The transmitters, which can be operated intuitively via touchscreen, offer two independently adjustable electrical switching outputs, both of which can be loaded up to 200 mA.
In addition to classic on-site programming via the capacitive touchscreen, these Industry 4.0-capable transmitters offer an IO-Link interface for central monitoring and diagnostics. This makes them Industry 4.0 ready and future-proof for use in a modern sensor network.
P.Touch pressure switches are available for pressure ranges from 0 to 10, 16, 25, 40, 100, 250, 400, 600 bar with G1/4″ male or female thread as pressure connection. The supply voltage of 9..30 V is applied via an M12 connector. The two outputs can be flexibly configured as electrical switching outputs, digital IO-Link or analog output, optionally 0..10 V, 1..10 V or 4..20 mA. With a load capacity of 200 mA each, the switching outputs are suitable for direct control of many valves and relays.
Using IO-Link, all sensor functions of the P.Touch can be configured and its status including the measured pressure can be queried and processed centrally. Diagnostic functions for predictive maintenance include counters, adjustable threshold values, switching operations, load changes, operating hours and start operations.
The display is extensively configurable for on-site operation, including the ability to use color symbology to directly indicate the status. The configuration can also be locked if necessary and the display can be deactivated to save energy.
The display is shatterproof mounted and can be easily rotated by software depending on the mounting position. The whole pressure switch is made of stainless steel 1.4301 with a measuring cell made of ceramic and protected according to IP67. The temperature of the environment can be in the range between -25°C..80°C, the temperature of the measured medium even in the range between -25°C..100°C.
