MS5837 ultra-kleiner digitaler Absolutdrucksensor by AMSYS

MS5849 absolute pressure sensor

The MS5849 is a digital OEM sensor* that measures the absolute pressure* with high 24bit resolution. It is compensated and provides the measured values as digital output signals via an I²C or SPI interface.

The reflowable sensors are designed for the pressure ranges of 0.2 – 2 bar, 0.2 – 7 bar and 0.3 – 30 bar and are media-protected with a chlorine resistant gel coating. In addition to the pressure, they measure the temperature from -40 to +110 °C.

The MS5849 pressure sensors consist of a piezoresistive pressure cell and an amplifier A/D-interface-IC, housed in a QFN package (3.3 x 3.3 x 2.7 mm³). The grounded metal ring protects the electronic components and facilitates O-ring mounting. The sensor converts the measured pressure- and temperature-dependent signal of the measuring cell into a 24-bit data word. In addition, 6 individual coefficients are stored in the sensor, which allow the highly accurate software correction for the pressure and temperature measurement by an external microprocessor. The sensor can communicate with the microprocessor via I²C or SPI. This can also be used to set the oversampling rate and the speed and power requirements.
