TSYS03 temperature sensor

temperature sensor TSYS03

The TSYS03 is a digital temperature sensor characterized by its improved accuracy and high resolution compared to the previous model. Due to its low current consumption, this temperature sensor fits perfectly for use in battery-operated devices.

The digital one-chip temperature sensor generates a 16-bit temperature value with a resolution of ± 0.01 °C and an accuracy of ±0.5 °C @ 0 – 60 °C. The sensor is available in two housing variants: in a small XDFN6 housing (1.5 x 1.5 mm2) or in a TDFN8 housing (2.5 x 2.5 mm2). The TSYS03 can be connected to any microcontroller via the I2C interface with a maximum clock frequency of 1MHz. Remarkable is the fact that the sensor now has a second programmable I2C address.

The TSYS03 impresses with its high accuracy, extremely low current consumption of <5 µA and low self-heating of max. 0.1 °C. Due to its small size and supply voltage, the temperature sensor is frequently used for mobile, battery-operated applications.
