Together with a standard Windows PC with a USB port the AMS 5812 USB starter kit enables quick and easy initial operation of an AMS 5812 pressure sensor with an I²C interface. The current digital pressure and temperature of the AMS 5812 can be read out and visualized with the help of the kit.

The starter kit also enables each sensor in the AMS 5812 series to be programmed with a fixed individual I²C address. This is necessary where several AMS 5812 pressure sensors are to be operated on an I²C bus. The address is valid alongside the default factory I²C address (78hex).
