Electrical connection of the AMS 3012

The sensor AMS 3012 is part of a ready-to-use series of robust analog pressure transducers* in a matchbox-sized metal package (IP67). This series can stand system pressure up to 16 bar and is available for various pressure types and suitable for high precision measurements in industrial applications.

One process of AMS 3012 production is the calibration as well as the compensation of temperature dependent drift of offset and span. An integrated CMOS-DSP and EEPROM allows high accuracy in pressure measurement. All sensors in this series provide an interference resistant analog output signal of 4 .. 20 mA and can be powered within a wide supply voltage range between 8 .. 36 V.

AMS 3012 comes in a rugged metal package with standard M5 female threads for pressure connection. Available with various pressure fittings and with or without connection cable, this pressure transducer can stand up to 16 bar system pressure*.

Pressure types and ranges for the AMS 3012

AMS 3012 (low pressure) pressure ranges:
gage/differential or bidirectional differential: 0-50; 0-100 mbar or ±25; ±50 and ±100 mbar

AMS 3012 pressure ranges:
gage/differential or bidirectional differential: 0-200; 0-350; 0-500 mbar; 0-1,0; 0-2,0, 0-4,0; 0-7,0; 0-10,0 bar; ±200; ±350 und ±1000 mbar

AMS 3012 pressure ranges:
absolute 0-1000 and 0-2000 mbar

AMS 3012 pressure ranges:
barometric 700-1200 mbar

Note: The AMS 3012 can also be calibrated according to customer specifications. Further variants of the transducer family are the AMS 3010 with a 10 V output, the AMS 3011 with a 5 V output and the AMS 4712 in small plastic package.
